Who we are
Many women leaving correctional facilities face difficulties in finding essential resources and safe and supportive housing, which often contribute to their return to the criminal justice system. The Glory House for Women is a faith-based transitional housing and re-entry program dedicated to facilitating a seamless transition from incarceration into communities, with the goal of reducing the cycle of recidivism. We strive to achieve this by offering a comprehensive, multi-faceted support system encompassing residential housing, pre- and post-release re-entry services, community partnerships, and intensive personal development opportunities.
The Glory House for Women assesses the challenges and barriers to success that women often encounter upon release from incarceration, and our organization plays a vital role in addressing and eliminating these obstacles. We provide a structured, yet compassionate environment, offering essential support systems that can significantly promote long-term success for its participants.
We strive to empower and support women on their journey toward reunification with their children. We are committed to breaking cycles of separation by fostering healing, resilience, and stability, ensuring every mother has the opportunity to rebuild strong, loving family bonds.
The programs, services and resources offered through The Glory House for Women equip individuals with the tools and life skills that they need to lead productive, law-abiding lives. Our programs are key to reducing crime and contributing to stronger families and safer communities. For this reason, we foster partnerships within communities, with the goal of creating wide-ranging supportive systems that produce wide-ranging results.
